(I do normally match clothes within an outfit but it was a 70s theme)
Ok, so this night had nothing to do with my celebrity life style however I felt the need to comment on the experience when I went to Roller Disco at Kings Cross to celebrate a friend's 22nd birthday (can't believe I just admitted that). Having to queue to get in was something I hadn't done in a while and to be completely honest I had to kick myself mentally that I am NOT now in my 'famous' mode. Despite this, I found the venue full of people with attitude and arrogance and the language coming out of some woman's mouth was atrocious. We even nearly got involved in a fight as some woman was so drunk she started slating my friend for helping someone that had fallen over on her skates. Ok, so maybe the average night club isn't normally this bad but I thought it was quite bizarre how I would have previously expected people to be more likely to display more arrogance and attitude at a celebrity party rather than at a normal one but it turned out to be the other way round. My recent nights out have been warm, welcoming with no confrontational atmosphere making me feel very safe. Maybe the celebs don't need to prove anything at a party or maybe because everyone at a celeb party must be 'someone' they don't need to display status. What party would you rather be at...?

hmm, yeah i can see what your saying, but i have experienced at the celeb parties i have been to lot's of snobbiness, drugs and attention seeking vibes from some particular z-lists. I guess it's all about who your with... what do you think?

yea that is possibly the case, I suppose it depends a lot on the status of the celeb. The parties I have been to have been full of celebrities that don't need any attention, don't need to prove anything etc. I am sure if I went to a party where people needed to be exposed what you have said would definately be the case. Thanks for your comment, nice thought x
but every celebrity needs to be exposed. that's why they go to celebrity parties - to be photographed and get in the pages of heat. once you get to the status of say, madonna it doesn't matter so much as she's hounded. but lot's of celebrity friendships and relationships are contrived publicity stunts.
I once saw a certain ex-girlfriend style icon of last summer snorting coke in the toilets of the opening party of her new jeans range, behaving like an absolute twit, parading around with her then boyfriend, who was also off his face in a v arrogant way. and these two certainly didn't need any more attention than they were already getting at that point.
i'm just saying that for some people celebrity isn't a bed of roses and all those free parties can soon spiral out of control in to a dark debauched pit. depends what you're into really!
watch what's being put in your drink chelle!!
By the way - this is in no way a dig at your project. i think you are doing an amazing job and in some way trying to highlight the points i've kind of made. i.e. celebs these days aren't really famous for their talents - e.g. jenifer elison - she can't sing, but she tried, and to be famous for no real reason like that you have to be someone who naturally craves a LOT of attention. I thought that's what you are trying to say anyway?
woah! tres long commento
soz xxxx
O yea I definaelty agree that most celebrities only go to get publicity-that's what I am being sent there, to get publicity! It is funny as well as a lot of celebrities don't know who each other are and pretend they do. I won't mention any names but last night someone had a long conversation with one then turned round to me and said 'who is that?'. So a lot of it is pretence. Of course life isn't a bed of roses for a lot of celebrities but then also bad press can be good press for some. Luckily enough the parties I have been sent to so far haven't been like you mentioned and people haven't acted in that way but I am aure I will see this along the way, especially if I carried on after the 12th week and I am sure things do get out of control-then I would have a lot more gossip to spill! As this a 12 week project I haven't experienced this side as of yet-maybe that all starts happening in the 13th week! Thank you for your comment
