Progress so far

I aim to become as famous as possible in 12 weeks by exploring and exhausting the potential of print and media.
My project was approved by my tutor last week 'GTS says yes' so within a week I have made quite a lot of progress.
I pestered big companies on Oxford Street with phonecalls to let me have a meeting with someone who is in charge of their window displays.
I got a meeting arranged with House of Fraser on the following Tuesday with very little effort -how easy was that? They have given me a whole display area to do what I want with. (see photo) I could use this as one of my pitches for becoming famous. I then went to Selfridges where I contacted the display team to ask if I could star in one of their shop windows as a live mannequin. The lady who was in charge, Sarah McCullough, was not in however has contaced me since saying they cannot do this as their displays are planned one year in advance plus they have already had live mannequins there before. O.K not so easy now then. I am currently in contact with Harrods regarding the same idea.
I have also contacted the Daily Mail who have said that if I do something quite dramatic that would create a good story, they would definately be interested and get news channels involved, just to let them know.
My tutor from last year at Chelsea has some great contacts within the media and is meeting with a friend of hers from channel 4 tonight and will mention my project to see if they can help at all. I have also contacted local radio stations today and am awaiting a reply. There was a great story in the Telegraph yesterday about what is happening to our celebrities i.e Robbie and Britney in rehab. Maybe I could get myself in there! That would make a true celebrity!
